Who else thinks that this could lead to unforeseen consequences along the lines of passengers ganging up on unruly people on-board? Airlines will surely seek to indemnify themselves should any subsequent injuries or worse.

Anybody else thinking that a certain large low cost airline, when delays are about to occur, will pick on a passenger and get them thrown off, thus meaning they don't have to compensate the other passengers?1
