Shielding

I have my original letter from the nhs to shield but not had an extension text saying to shield till end of June my employer now wants me back to work even though I’m still classed as extremely vulnerable cannot get a telephone number from anybody and my gp just says my original letter is my proof but my work place won’t accept it

The confusion is that the SSP legislation refers to the date referred to in the shielding notification which will presumably be 12 weeks from the date of the shielding letter. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/427/made
The shielding guidance however has been revised to say 30th June.
