Furlough back pay!?
Comments

Unless your employer is willing to lie on the application they can't furlough you now as it is too late. Which is a bit of a unfair position to put them in when they have obviously already gone above what they needed to do in trying to get in touch with you.1

I think the main problem, even leaving aside the deadline issue, is that if the employer has furloughed anyone else, CJRS claims covering the relevant periods will already have been made.Grumpy_chap said:She might be able to review and back-date a claim as far back as the last pay-roll (assume that was end of May), so from 1st June, but I understand that would need you and her to have agreed in writing before 10th June. So, a letter dated before 10th June and signed by you both needs to exist. Maybe the Accountant will come up with a good idea.0 -
The important lesson and this is for anyone is never bury your head when the phone rings. We all have to swallow that frog sometimes when we don't want to pick up but it would have left you much better offAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0
