So, how do you all keep track of the Neutral money? Put in your account or in a jar, or in a diary or something?(with points and such like)
Hi. I have a book and I keep track of money vouchers etc for christmas 2008 in that. I am in the grocery challenge and when I am well under budget I use some of the surplus to buy Morrisons savings stamps. So I have a page in the book to log that. I have a page for any pigsback vouchers I get etc etc. I hope this helps. As for presents I am hoping to be able to gett freebies and wins etc to fund at least some of them - I dread to think how much we have spent this year, I daren't add it up yet. Maybe in new year I will add it up and come clean as to what I've spent.
    Anyway I hope this helps.

Now for the stupid question: I tried to do a signature, went into user Cp, edit signature, typed what I wanted in it, pressed save sign. and I don't know where it goes now? Lets see if it comes up with this new reply? Or am I missing something out?

Edit to say: yes, it works now, answered my own question... just ignore me..

thanks Tattycath, I will keep a note in my diary

Hi gang great news the more the merrier.
I keep a jolly little spreadsheet of vouchers and presents. So If I bought something in Boots for £15, and used a £10 gift voucher, then I have really only spent £5 of "hard cash" - so the £10 is neutral, and the £5 hard cash has to be offset by quidco or ebay earnings. Get me?? It can't be offset by a HMV voucher

Have tried ebaying in the past, not at all successfully, will give it another go this year for a while anyway. Looking at all the other lovely sigs, mine is so boring looking, must have another go after I finish my homework.

No willpower, so just gotta promise myself I can stick to chocolate if I leave the major spending and catalogues alone :rotfl: What do ya think, is that all too much of a tall order?

As for ebaying - yep give it another go i say - i sell really well considering its only bits and bobs from around the house so if you need any tips i can help. No i like your sig - its a simple straightforward no nonsense sig:T .

As for the catalogues, well they are just not allowed in my house at all - we have an argos and a woolies one and that is it. And i did have a park one sent through but after i started chosing things to buy i threw it out sharpish, lol! I have next to no willpower so now i have to get rid of all temptation, and must never look at them at all. Hehe, that way i can only buy the unnessesaries on my occasional trips in town, and yep that still happens. :D

  • Hi count me in I did really well with the ebay neutral challenge and have still got about £40 in my paypal account.
I have 2 stacking boxes full of bits of toiletries and stocking fillers because I am also forever finding bargains but end up buying loads of them so not really seeing the savings yet!!.
    I also have £3.50 pigsback.
    £30.90 due dec from quidco.
and have some boots points but don't know how many yet.

Tried doing that once, ended up going online for something and found it tooooo handy:rotfl: . Am going to put a big sign up beside computer stating interest rates and what a 20 quid top REALLY costs after interest is added on, that should stop me. Thanks for your comments, will get stuck in after new year. Have started buying for next year, but total bargain, couldn't pass it. Am going to be good this year tho, promise:A
