yoo hoo - was really excited today as I was adding on some points on my coke zone and there was a competition on and for 2 points you could win a £5 voucher for jd sports...and I won (2 points is nowt) they expire dec 17th so they probs need rid of them. My brother wants some weight training straps so I thought I could use this voucher on those and then my husband said jd only sells clothes...so what to do go buy someone some socks or something with my fiver or see if I can get anything for it on ebay?? or see if a friend wants it???!!!
I've got a load more points from IPSOS today, toluna's surveys seem to have resurged again and my points have magically gone from 30,000 to about 50,000. I hadn't been on toluna for a while as they were very slow and when I checked the other day I'm nearly at a £12 voucher...
also how's everybody doing with onepoll - forgot about it for the last week or so, I'm now at £23.10, it will give me a good start on next years pressies though by the time I get to £40.
Am really wanting all my pressies bought by the end of this week - and my dh is going shopping for me and dd on saturday (which is great as he always leaves it until the last minute).
Has anybody heard about the free bingo you can play and you can get amazon vouchers with it - sounds too good to be true - can it really be free??0 -
Shelovestobuystuff - good luck with the fair. I find with selling my cards, I could sell them for £4.50 per card but might only sell 1-2 a month, whereas selling them at £2 means they sell at least £20+ worth I think per month - so my advice is keep prices low but with a profit, and you'll definitely sell stuff.
Scattymam - yep put your stuff on eBay - see what sells well first. My 'BN inflatable bra bath pillow' has got a bidder - you just cant predict what will sell on there!!!
One poll is slowing up I'm on £23 at the moment but I've included this in my cash for this year. Also at £17 on cashbackrewards but they have stopped doing amazon cashback so prob won't get much more (need £25 to cash it) will have to have a look at Toluna, I'm on about 30000 but want 60000 for a voucher
I am sceptical about the free bingo too.. wonder if anyone in the know can shed any light for us?

Only have £49 left in my paypal account for buying pressies now so I really need to get on to ebay next week and top it up.I like to just leave my money in there and search for stuff on ebay.I have just the enchanted wedding dress to buy for DD and thats me done with her pressies, although I keep seeing more stuff I would like to buy.
I have bought DS,s main pressie and am waiting for the list he is writing me so that I can buy some more stuff for him with my ebay proceeds hopefully.May do well enough tomorrow at the christmas market to finish my shopping, fingers crossed.I have been naughty and bought some big christmas teddies to brighten up my stall but I think I will sell them tomorrow as well as my usual stuff,if not I can always take the teddies back to the shop."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Christmas market was good.I made £140- today minus the £15 of that we spent on take-away tonight and the £5 I gave DD to spend at the market makes £120 I have towards christmas.Cant wait till the next one."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Hiya,
It's been a while since I posted here, but read it whenever there is a new post. I have been doing surveys on one particular website for the past couple of months and have got £20 of luncheon vouchers. Now, do I need to spend them this year or is it okay to carry them over. I don't want to 'cheat'. I have joined several websites for surveys but have only found 1 so far that is worth it. It's not cost effective to sit for 20 minutes and do a survey for 10p. Some of them reckon you aren't suitable for the survey and kick you off it anyway.
I'll need to find a thread on here that tells you about the good survey sites methinks.

Hi Skint Lynne! Sounds like you are doing well. I find onepoll is the best survey site and occasionally do Toluna too. Hope that helps
Well all - I have had my first batch of eBay salesand reckon I've made about £65 profit which is better than nout!! I now need to find at least £54 to cover cost of presents I've already bought. Had hoped stuff would go a little better but alas! I don't have a great deal left to eBay - maybe 15 items or so, so can't expect more than about £20 for that lot....so wondering what to do to make fast cash?! yikes!
I have bought a few things from Boots.com on offer of the week - earnt points, used a discount and judging from what they are selling on eBay, hoping to make £5 per item on them which would be another £30 - BUT STILL DON'T HAVE MAIN PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!! How can I raise cash fast?!

So far I have bought all of DD,s pressies using quidco cashback of £170 and used some of the money money I had left lying in paypal to get that disney enchanted costume. I have made £120(it was £140 but we got a take-away and DD got £5 to spend) towards sons by selling stuff at a xmas market on saturday.
I need to make another £300 for ds,s pressies and another £500 for all the grown ups pressies and for niece and nephew,oh and the 2 dogs who will be getting nice big new beds each.Xmas food comes off the usual grocery budget so I dont need extra for that although I will be using some tesco clubcard vouchers for wine and beer which we dont usually buy.I have about 20 people to buy gifts for,
So an £800 target from ebay.
I think I will start off selling the higher value items I have to make a dent in my target quicker.I have some unopened fragrances,dd,s party dresses,a radley laptop bag,a suede laptop bag,2 armani jumpers still with tags on(ds changed his style before he wore them),some nice expensive hardly worn designer jeans. That lot should get me about £350 to begin with.I will get photos taken today and get listing tomorrow. Then I will have to start on the lower value stuff which will be a long slog as listing takes me ages.
I do have some signed 1st edition books I have collected and never look at so I may sell those too."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
WOW!! That is a HUGE target shelovestobuystuff! Good luck! Please keep us updated on how you do
Nothing in our house is safe anymore....everything I look at I think "hmm what would I get for you on eBay" just found an old 4.1mp digital camera which seems to be selling for about £10 on eBay so am going to put that on to help raise some cash
I need approx another £300ish in cash, but really don't have items to that value to sell, so unsure what I'm going to do !! will aim for another £100 from eBay at least whilst I scour the house for goodies to sell
Wheres mum2one these days? Is she still on her hols?
