    JamoLew - because I can’t take holiday, I’m on furlough, I am trying to look for a job, my husband works full time etc...how do I “take holiday?” It’s not reasonable, I get no benefit from that really, only they benefit 

    Unfortunately this is legally fine. You aren’t working so it’s practical of them to do this, yes they are using the scheme to cut costs but that’s what it’s there for I’m afraid.

    You do get a financial benefit of 100% pay for your holidays. Just because you can’t go away doesn’t mean you can’t take holidays sadly. 

    You aren’t at all the only one in this situation

    It would be a nightmare for companies if employees all the full holiday entitlement once they got back up and running.
