I'm still around and continue to post up my two regular TAB mags in regs (ably overseen by our fab OneEye) but like others, during this period I have full days home-schooling daytime then working evenings and weekends to fulfil my hours. I don't like this new forum version but I honestly can't see myself anywhere else so I'll plod on and join in where I can (e.g. Quidco squid watch is a bit of fun at the min!). I'm not 100% sure if you meant me (e.g. Granny Biker has been around for longer) but I came on here in 2013 and stayed for all the right reasons...the folks

I'm not a 'long' term comper but have been here a while and I recognise alot of those names and to all of them, I thank you.  I've never won that much but I enjoy the entering of them as it gives me something to do for a wee while each day, and every now and again I'll go through all the pages, it's amazing how many slip through.  I've taken to posting on one competition which is the Cash Register/pay day for Hits Scotland, I hope i'm not treading on toes by doing it, but it's my local station and while i've been in lockdown and not at work I can hear the amount and post it quickly.

I hope all those great names do come back in the future when perhaps things go back to some kind of normality and perhaps more companies start to open back up and get their feet back on the ground and offering great prizes.

I hope everyone is well and taking care of each other.

I’m still here but can’t find my original avatar pic so don’t think people recognise me by my username alone.

The reason I’m posting less is not because of the changes to the forum but there is a lack of competitions. All the holiday companies, shops, restaurants etc have shut down for Covid so they aren’t offering any prizes and sadly a lot of these places will have gone bust by the time things get back to ‘normal’. I’ve also had a change in personal circumstances so I don’t have as much time to look for competitions. But I still check in most days.

There is a name on that list that left MSE partly because of the actions of another member on the list in stealing some of their best sites for comps simply by posting them first and they have done this to more than one long serving comp finder.

At one time there was a thing called 'respect' on the comps board.
If a member repeatedly posted comps from a site then no one else would try to beat them to the post unless they were particularly late in posting or had mentioned that they would not have the time to do it but now it seems that anything is fair game to some members and they even go as far as deliberately targeting comps from other members even if they have been posting links here from a site for years.

But what do they gain from this?
