Before Lockdown I bought a Groupon Voucher for a Restaurant. We could not use it obviously and it subsequently expired. I contacted the restaurant who told me to apply to Groupon for a refund. I emailed and even suggested that I would accept a credit voucher but was denied on the grounds that my voucher had expired. I think this grossly unfair as it was not possible to use due to the COVID19 closure in any event. I even pointed out that I was suffering health issues at the time which took priority over claiming a refund. (Can be proven if Groupon would like evidence). So disappointed. I have asked for the matter to be referred to a supervisor and re-considered. Has anyone out there experienced something similar and did you get a satisfactory outcome?
