Homeserve not offering a service or discounts during lockdown

We have had a fault with our dishwasher which started day 1 of lock down. Homeserve have refused to visit (fair enough), refused to offer a refund or discount (even though they can not offer a service) and also refused to give us the 10-20% off a new dishwasher. Has anyone had any success with getting refunds / discounts please during lockdown?

A dishwasher isnt exactly a necessity ...
When things improve they will have to repair it anyway Its basically just a delayed repair.
So you've had to wash up for a few months ..
People are dying , is this really worth moaning about.

you can write a complaint to the insurer to get maybe a token gesture, and if your satisfied go to the ombudsman"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Cancel your homeserve policy / contract it's obviously not worth it.
Look on YouTube for a DIY fix.
If you can't DIY fix it bin it & buy a new one.
