Window Blinds Co. Refusing to repair them

We had some window blinds fitted in November 2017. During the current pandemic they came lose from the wall at the top where they are fitted.
We've rang them today (they only returned to the office this week) to report the fault. They've said because they are out of guarantee (2 years) then nothing can be done.
I've disagreed and say that they should be fit for purpose. Even if the company is saying they were fitted for free. And it shouldn't make any difference if we paid £200 or nothing.
Am I correct or have I misread exactly what ' fit for purpose' actually means?

After 6 months it's down to you to demonstrate / prove there was a fault from the start.
Have a read through the consumer board, which this is best suited.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
They have come loose at top? have you tried tightening screws?
If not, why not get screwdriver, screws and any plugs etc and screw them back on?
This is after all the DIY forum not consumer rights?
