S75 help - flight and accommodation query

Hi all,
My partner and I was meant to get married last Sunday - cancelled due to everything going on with the world. My partners hen do was also postponed to August (from originally April).
They had an email from RyanAir last night about the cancellation of their outwards flight but their inbound is still okay.
They've contacted the owner of a villa they booked via HomeAway.co.uk who has said he is unwilling to refund any monies for the booking.
Here's where the confusion lies for the girls organising the hen do. One friend paid the deposit on the villa on her credit card (£200) but due to unfortunate circumstances couldn't organise the rest of the hen do and therefore snother friend paid the remaining balance via debit card later along the line.
Where do they stand in terms of a s75 claim? Is friend one able to claim back the full amount via this protection?
As you can imagine, and similarly to what many many others are going through, this has been a vety stressful time for my partner and her friends in what wad meant to ve amazing time for everyone involved. Any help or information would be gratefully received as I try to help them.
Kind regards

You need to supply more details, was villa booked for April or August, where is the villa, what was the cancellation policy of the villa?
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

If the flights were cancelled but the villa available and booked separately, then it's likely that your travel insurance is your only recourse if it was too late to cancel the villa. No free lunch, and no free laptop
