Hi has anyone had experience of using Transferwise to receive payment when selling property In Europe, I’d like hear whether you saved money and whether everything went smoothly.

Transferwise Is not part of any deposit guarantee in the UK or abroad. I would only use proper banks myself. Assuming your sale is in Euros, you could have a look at Starling Bank. In any case, I would contact whoever you use beforehand.0

Used them to send £200 k to OZ 4 years ago and to return funds to UK once a year since with no problems and very good rates.0

I regularly use them to transfer funds between UK and singapore. Great rates and good service. I receive the funds at other end in minutes, though this is going to depend upon the sending and receiving banks’ infrastructure.0
