Hi!

Purchased backpacker travel insurance before the pandemic for a year starting in June but won’t be able to travel until later on in the year, should we be able to change the travel insurance start date to be in line with our new flight dates later on in the year? Or should we be entitled to a full refund from the travel insurance? If not are we still covered if we travel on a different date?

If it is a single trip policy you need to ask your insurance company about transferring it to your new date. Companies do seem to b doing this with some provisos in some cases.
