Living roof for porch

I am having a lean to style porch built measuring about 1.1m by 2.8m. I am thinking of a living roof but have no idea whether this is a simple idea or not. Has anyone had one installed? Does the roof need to be flat or is a small pitch okay? How does the price compare to a standard tiled roof? Any information/advice gratefully received

@JuzaMum have you seen the ones done in grand designs? They did mention costs etc.

The roof construction will need to be more substantial than for a tiled one.  Wet soil is extremely heavy.  A slight pitch will prevent water pooling on the roof and making it even heavier.

No I've not seen the prices on Grand Designs. I saw one on a gardening programme and no mention of costs. I have found a localish supplier and sent an enquiry. The living bit doesn't seem too expensive but I don't know about extra construction. On the types of living roof offered it states that the sedum can weigh up to 48k per square meter when wet so about two builders sat on the porch roof?

Not sure I would have one for a porch, my main concern would be damp over time.
