I was made redundant 3 weeks ago and now my employer is advertising my exact job role on their careers page, is this illegal?

P.s - I was made redundant due to the 'businesses needs'0

It might support a claim of unfair dismissal but it depends on the details. For example the week after your redundancy, which was reasonable under "business needs" they might have received a huge order which changed the business' needs
How long had you worked there? Under 2 years and they can just kick you out for almost any non-discriminatory reason they like (eg not liking the colour of your shirt)0 -
Why don't you get back in touch with them, if it is a change in business ie role actually now required they might take you straight back on, if not you could look at unfair dismissal. But before anybody could advise you then would need more information.

Was it voluntary redundancy or compulsory? That makes a difference, as voluntary is in effect simply agreeing between yourselves to leave employment in exchange for whatever you negotiate.0

How long had you been there?
What redundancy settlement did you get?0
