I booked with Easyjet for the 28th June Gatwick to Nice. On the 29th on May, I received an email with the options and giving me a deadline to pick either voucher or change flight. I didn't took any action, on the 6th June I received another email: "We’re writing to let you know that there has been an update to your upcoming flight on the 28jun20 from London Gatwick (LGW) to Nice (NCE). Please see your flight details below..." It looked like the time changed, however when I checked my booking on the website, I notice that the flight number actually changed, also my original flight was not longer on their schedule board, so the flight was actually cancelled.

On the email with the change the only said:
"What happens now?
If you have already printed off your boarding pass or downloaded the pass via the easyJet app kindly repeat this process to ensure that the correct seat number is displayed.
Should you wish to view or change your allocated seats you can do so using the manage bookings facility at easyJet.com prior to checking-in.
If you need to re-arrange other services for your trip, including accommodation, transport or car hire, please contact the relevant service provider directly

I know we are living difficult times, but why they are not transparent with there customers, it is clear that the flight was cancelled

I found a cancellation form on their website and submitted, now I need to wait 90days and probably to receive my back money bit by bit. I used my credit card to pay, what abut the interest I need to pay now.

Do you know the EU law that backup the cancellation with the flight number change?

It will just fall in the general cancelled flight law nothing I believe state what is classed as cancelled. I expect they did this to avoid loopholes.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.
