If you have Windows 10 (probable) then you don't need any 3rd party AV. Stick with the built-in Defender and maybe add Malwarebytes Antimalware for occasional scans.

Edit to add : Although that site seems to be an AV comparison site, if you inspect closely you can see that it is nothing more than an advert for this total AV junk.
What made me cringe the most was this sentence ..

"but it is useful to be able to protect your phone (Android or iOS) as well as your main computer"

So these guys obviously no clue how this stuff works .. If they did they would laugh out loud at the mention that its beneficial in any way to have an AV on an iphone .. Or any mobile device for that matter ..

Theyre beginning to get on my nerves a bit now these AV companies .. Theyre going the same way as the VPN pushers :-(

  • Yesterday, my Dad contacted me telling me that someone had taken £149 from his paypal account, he thought it was fraudsters
Looking deeper into the issue he has been billed 3 x times by Total AV for £409.80  in total!!!!

It turns out he was cold called by someone telling him his laptop had problems and that he needed this software!  (He's partially sighted and believes anything he is told)

**If you pay with Paypal ensure that you remove the automatic pre-payment after you cancel or they can take additional monies the following year without needing approval

I am now in touch with Total AV to get a refund (4 emails asking for a refund and 4 replies telling me I can have extra features)

I am not impressed that he has been billed for this as he doesnt have the software installed as he has since had a new PC!
