Hi, I have recently been made redundant after 17 years at my company. They are saying they are keeping me on furlough for the 3 months of my notice period. Is this allowed. I will be loosing out on my full pay I think I should be entitled to. Thanks for any help.

Basically who knows? You can make a good argument for either. The government has stated nothing about notice period. All they have said is that companies can’t use the Job Retention Scheme for redundancy payments. But is notice period a redundancy payment? as you are still working or not in this case.
Until the government make an announcement or it is tested in court you can happily argue for both, so I would try to get it at 100% but accept the 80% and if found wrong claim it back later.
But on another point how long did you agree to be furloughed for?
