TUI Hotel Only Booking

I have booked flights and hotel both through TUI but separate transactions so it is not classed as a package. I can move my flights but not the hotel! Can anyone help as this does not seem fair at all. I have till Sunday to cancel but will only get 50% back. TUI have not been helpful at all. Nothing they can do. Any advice would be great!
