Refund

Hi my friend and I were due to travel to the USA on Saturday 6th June. However due to the coronavirus Aerlingus sent us an email on 26 May advising our scheduled flight will not now be going and they will rebook us on another of their services, with a new itinerary to follow. We have heard nothing since. I have applied for a refund using the form they supply but have had no acknowledgment. How long do we wait to hear back and also our flights were non-refundable so are we still entitled to a full refund if we didnt cancel.
Thanks

Non refundable means if you cancel. If they cancel, you are entitled to a full refund.
You are not obliged to accept a rebooking, unless it's only a minor change, such as altered timings.
Refunds are currently taking months, no one can give you a timescale.
No free lunch, and no free laptop

Ryanair flight cancelled and applied for refund. No confirmation and nothing heard. Now receiving emails as flight going ahead and I am still showing as a passenger. Anyone else had this problem? I can't get through on the chat function and the flight is on Friday!0
