Hi
Looking for some clarification please and whether we could claim back wedding costs if paid on CC. We have a wedding booked for 10th Oct this year but given the situation especially around social distancing we really feel that any wedding this year will not be practical. We have been in contact with our venue and they are willing to postpone to a date next year provided we pay 50% of the cost now. We feel uncomfortable in paying this amount without some method of getting money back in the event that the wedding venue fails between now and the proposed date we are looking at next year. With no wedding insurance available at this moment our only option would appear to be to pay CC and then hopefully be able to claim any money lost against the CC company in the event of the failure of the wedding venue. Is anyone able to confirm that in such a case we would be able to claim back successfully from the CC company.
Regards
