Ebay problem with billing

On the 19th May ebay announced that any items that you sell in certain catagories will only cost 5p to list.
I was charged the full listing fee on about 10 items. Now I have received my new bill for the month and still no credit has been given for these items.
I have contacted Ebay 3 days ago, and have still heard nothing regarding credit.
What can I do about this?

Wait until the time that the terms and conditions stated the credit would be made which was the 30th June, you are too early yet for the credit to be on your account.
The terms and conditions for the 5 p listing on 19th May stated:
Sellers who use Item Specifics in their auction-style or auction with Buy It Now listings on Thursday 19th May 2005 will be eligible for a reduced insertion fee of just 5p per item.
Please note that at the time of listing the normal insertion fee will be charged, but sellers with qualifying listings (those with Item Specifics) will receive a credit to their accounts by 30th June 2005. See below for list of applicable categories. "
I don't like these offer days when you don't get confirmation before you list that your item qualifies. It really does pay to read the terms and conditions especially when you have to comply with them to receive the credit back.

Thanks for your replies. I should have read the 30th June date, I missed that.

well i have saved a few of the ebay e-mails i get with listing prices. Sometimes it has to be in a certain catagory for you to place it for that price ie. carsNeed to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me

I just checked my account for the same thing - my credits for this promotion were made yesterday afternoon! (not like ebay to credit before time!)0

Goodness that is quick for ebay, are you sure they weren't for the earlier promotion that had credits due on or before 10th June?
I've always accepted with ebay that when they say 'before' a date they actually mean 'on' that date!

on the invoice they are listed as "Item Specific Promotion Credit - 638".
The annoying thing is that more credits have just gone through... after I paid my fees, now I'm in credit by £38!
If only I could claim that back easily! oh well, will most probably spend within the next couple of weeks!0 -

That's another reason I don't like these offer days where you pay up front and reclaim your fees a couple of bills later. It's OK if you are a really big seller, you can easily use up the credit but for smaller sellers, or those just attracted by the offer day you have a credit that will take ages to use and meanwhile have paid fees to ebay.
Oh well, I think the days of 'free listing' are over and we will just get these offer days in future with all sorts of terms and conditions instead.
