I have had my own particular problem with a switch, with the help of this community I have been able to understand a little of how it went wrong. Hopefully it will be resolved one way or the other. This Forum encourages people to switch, but should it provide some guidance about what to do if things go wrong?
There are are some apologists and some people who understand the issues on the Forum. There are also people who are confused and angry.
From my own experience if something does go wrong it seems horribly difficult to remedy. I think the companies could make it easier for us and themselves if they provided some guidance on their websites and in their communities about the process and how it differs for simple switches/impact of in or out of contract/termination. Also there should be clarity on (and preferably automatic) repayment of fees paid in advance. Good customer service should benefit everyone.

Always agreed with that and some suppliers are better than others with faqs .

I ended up taking my problem TALKTALK through to CISAS after months of getting nowhere.
TalkTalk have apologised and should be rectifying billing.
As part of the agreement I have requested that they show evidence that they have changed their process and a phone call from their CEO.
Vodafone are hopefully getting somewhere with the routing problem.
Not getting too excited. Is that light at the end of the tunnel or is it a train coming the other way?
