Quick query that I’m confused about and need to resolve. My wife and I have a car each with 2 separate insurance policies. My car where I am the policyholder and my wife is a named driver and her car where she is the policy holder and I am a named driver. My wife had an accident in my car on my policy which resulted in a claim against us and me loosing my NCD. Does this claim also need to be now be declared on the her policy too which isn’t due for renewal until November?

Yes it does.
her policy won’t lose ncd. She may or may not be loaded (higher premium) as a result of having an accident, but yes absolutely must be declared.0 -
So we are going to penalised twice now!0

All accidents have to be disclosed when taking out insurance.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

What I mean the other policy is still mid term. Do I need to declare now or when it’s due for renewal?0

You should be declaring it as a claim under all policies which cover the risk. I think it's normally a question the insurers will ask in a claim - the principle being that they should be sharing the risk.0
