My Mum died in January and I am Executor of her Will. I am having a lot of problems with the Solicitor handling her Estate. My Dad died in 1997 I am completing the Claim to Transfer his unused RNRB. The Solicitor says that the value to be entered in Box 8 on the Form is £100,000 I am sure it should be £2,000,000. Can…

Thank you. I think that explains it very well. I will send it to the Solicitor. She obviously doesn’t want to admit she is wrong. I rang the HMRC Inheritance Tax Helpline and they said they couldn’t help me.
