I'm an Agency worker being asked to work from home

I've worked for the local University since September 2019 in the same role through a recruitment agency on a temporary contract.  The University asked me to work from home from 18th March whilst campus is closed.  I've been working on a daily basis, but my hours have been a lot less that if I was on campus.  In the last 3 months I've earned the equivalent of a months wages.  The University staff who are working from home are on full pay, regardless of how many hours, if any, they work.  I would like to know if I'm eligible to claim my loss of earnings.  I thought that if I worked for the same company in the same role for a certain period of time, then temporary workers are entitled to the same rights as employees.  Could anyone clarify this for me and let me know if I can claim any money back from somewhere?

What did your contract say with regards to the number of hours required? Your relationship with the Uni (via the agency) is set out in that agreement.
