Hello all, very new to this, was wondering if anyone has recently applied for the bounce back loan either through metro bank since it became accredited on Monday, and are still yet to know there outcome as it says it has to be reviewed. Mine has and I have been a business customer with metro for 2 years but have waited many weeks for metro to become accredited but now fear they are going to decline my application because a ccj has been added to my business credit report at the beginning of this month due to not paying a bill as havnt worked due to covid since becoming ill middle of February. Any answers or suggestions or actual instances people have had with metro since they opened for applications on Monday on there so called brand spanking new quick lighting speed applying platform. Thanks

I can't offer any help or insight into why they're taking their time with yours.
Anecdotally, my story is different.  I am a Ltd Co customer, a bit less than 2 years with Metro.  Applied yesterday (I was in the queue on Monday when they closed the applications due to issues with their systems), got an acceptance straight away in their system online during the application (took about 15 mins to complete); acceptance email arrived a few mins later and the money has arrived less than 24 hrs later into my account - so their system is at least working for some.  However my finances and credit records (personal and business) are unblemished, and all my income goes through the Metro account so the turnover would have been very easy to correlate with what I asked for.
I guess you'll have to try and get in touch with them to find out what is holding them up if it doesn't come good.  Perhaps the CCJ means it has to go into a queue to be manually reviewed instead of being able to go through fully automatic (like mine appears to have done).  It seems other banks have been taking quite a long time to get through applications that need review, which makes sense if you think about the volume of applications likely and the effort needed for a person to work out a decision.
    Good luck.
