Problem with Holiday Lettings (Part of TripAdvisor)

I booked a three week holiday Apartment in Duquesa, Costa Del Sol, Spain, direct with Holiday Lettings Ltd. part of TripAdvisor Ltd.
On arrival the description of the Apartment as advertised and also confirmed in writing by the Owner was incorrect and therefore the description was misleading. Following numerous emails etc. Holiday Lettings have decided that they were only the Agents and therefore decided that they want any involvement in resolving this matter.
I have requested what I considered to be a very reasonable amount for compensation of £150.00 for the three weeks. Subsequently the Owner has admitted responsibility and decided to offer a derisory amount of £30.00 compensation as full and final settlement and will no longer answer my correspondence.
I have now decided to pursue this through the Small Claims Court, however I cannot obtain the Owners address for serving the papers. Having emailed Holiday Lettings again last week they are ignoring my requests to provide addresses etc. and just don't want to know, so should I now serve the papers direct with them, as the Agents.
I would appreciate any advice etc.
Regards
Bob Ward

The booking conditions of Holiday Lettings make it clear they are not a party to the contract between the renter and the owner, and make it clear they have not examined any premises and any statements are only the responsibility of the owner. The first problem may be that the owner is not based in the UK and whilst there is a European Small Claims procedure, it may be difficult to enforce any judgement in your favour.
If Holiday Lettings refuse to give the details of the Principal to the contract, and in current conditions, I am not sure a week is long enough to give them to reply, then it is possible to sue on the basis they are an apparent Principal due to their refusal to identify the correct party. It might be that for £150 they just pay up as it would be cheaper than defending but with a company of this size they probably have a team of 100 lawyers in house so I wouldn't;t count on it!
