New Meter
Options
There is a cable for electric in my house but no meter. This happened before lockdown, the cable was renewed and they said another company would connect the meter, lockdown happened so meter, When I ring am either told that they don't do it or they can't come becasue of lockdown. The property has been empty for a while but I move in next week, What can I do please.

I assume you have been having the service position moved at your request.
The people you need to deal with is the DNO who you paid. They will be sub-contracting the meter aspect.
Write a letter of COMPLAINT to the DNO - don't phone or email
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
I wasn't at my request, I had rentals at the property and they by passed the meter and were growing weed. They were arrested and the electric company took the meter away.0

You need to speak with the revenue protection team of the supplier to the property and they will arrange for a new meter to be fitted.0
