Contacting newspaper "consumer champions"

I am involved in a complicated dispute with an insurance company and a credit card company, and I think it might benefit from the help of one of the journalists who writes about this stuff in newspapers, such as Anna Tims (Guardian) or Katie Morley (Telegraph) etc.

Has anyone contacted one of these help columns before?

I have no loyalty to any particular newspaper and to maximise the chance of a response I would like to contact as many as I can find - but then two or more might want to take on my case, so what would you do?
