Booking flights for August - Yes or No?

Ryanair have some great prices on flights for Aug - for the 4 of us to go its basically late Jan prices, and at least 1/3 if not 1/4 of the normal Aug prices.
Obviously we cannot currently travel, but they are talking about air corridors and I cant see the government effectively grounding the travel industry till Sept!
If they do put on another ban, then I guess Ryanair will be forced to cancel flights so we will get a refund. The only risk is if we cancel, i.e. if we have symptoms 14 days before, or I guess, have symptoms there. In that case, with no insurance, I guess that we would not go and lose the flights/money or get out there, not be able to come back for 14 days and have to buy flights back at whatever price they are.
Accomodation would be with family so no risk there.
If we did get insurance and the government made travel ok would we then be covered? i.e. we booked it when no travel allowed so that still applies, or despite booking when not allowed because the government lifted restrictions we could then claim?

If the flights were really that cheap would you really be that worried if you couldnt get the money back from them?0

We booked flights for 4 from Spain in early November, late March, as they were dirt cheap and we had booked the outbound flights late last year. Our fear is prices will jump if travel is allowed. We aren't worried if we don't get our money back, What may happen is only two of us fly and two are nervous about being on a plane.0

It could be that we get out there ok and if we had symptoms when out there, have to cancel flights and rebook 2 weeks later, when we could have to pay a lot for it with no insurance to cover - not to mention the hassle of taking 2 more weeks off work etc..bradders1983 said:If the flights were really that cheap would you really be that worried if you couldnt get the money back from them?0
