Hi, received a quote today for some roof work.
I live in an average size 3 bed 1930’s semi.
I live in an average size 3 bed 1930’s semi.
Quote 1 - replacement of roof ridge with a dry ridge system, it’s 2-3 metres plus replacement of X2 hips that are approx 6m each. Cost for this is £3200.
Quote 2 - replacement of whole roof tiles, treated barons underneath - £6200.
both quotes include skip and scaffolding.
does this sound about right? I’m in the south west.
many thanks

Not sure about the price. However, suggest you obtain at least 3 quotes and engage based on reputation and preferably a recommendation.0
