Our broker has told us that even the 90% deals are being removed. He said 3 got removed yesterday so we are now trying to sort out 15% deposit.Absolutely contact a broker - try asking friends for locks recommendations.0

Another vote for using a broker. I've only used one once, the last time I changed my mortgage. A simple and painless process with a person who knew exactly what information to give and was able to tweak some of it to our advantage. I would always use one in future except that the mortgage he arranged was a five year fix to the end of the mortgage. I didn't have to pay a fee myself.0
