Hi. We went to Italy in March we were there for two nights then it went into lockdown. So hotel closed. Holiday insurance say it’s not their problem. Contacted travel firm and they said go to insurance. After contacting hotel they have said they paid our travel agent back for our 5 nights Half board that we didn’t stay - this was in March. What rights have we got. The travel agents are with ABTA.

We paid by debit card. But I feel strongly that as the hotel gave back our hotel money- as it stands the travel agents have the hotels refund in their account as well as the money we paid for the holiday. Feel we are entitled to at least what the hotel paid back.0
