    I'm a member of EH and NT.
    I think EH have been generous in their offer.

    I wouldn't dream of pursuing this through small claims court.

    I've got life membership of both Historic Scotland and NTS, so maybe I should make some actuarial assessment of my remaining lifespan and sue accordingly...
