Together Energy

Options
Hi Martin,
I have been with together energy nearly 2 years and have never got a bill. I have called them numerous times and been on hold today nearly 3 hours they are saying that there is a problem with their billing system and I am trying to leave , I don't know what I owe if I am in credit or debit. I have called again  last week to make a complaint and was told that it would take 10 working hours for a call back 4 days later I still have not had a call back. The last bill I received was in December and that doesn't open. I have asked what my last bills have been and they are saying that they cannot tell me this but are continuing to take money out of my account. I cannot leave them because I dont know what my useage is.

Your original welcome email will tell you the unit rate an standing charge.

PS Leaving them will generate a final bill (perhaps) and then you had better hope that you owe them money.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Together Energy are without doubt the worst energy supplier I have ever had to deal with. There is a group on Facebook set up by customers who all have received horrific (or non existent) service. Look for Together Energy customer support group.
I left them in Feb 2019 and I'm still trying to disentangle the mess - not very hard currently tho' .

It's quite easy to see where you are.  Subtract your opening meter reading from the present meter reading, multiply by the pence/kWh rate and add the daily charge for the relevant number of days.  Compare the answer with total of all the DD payments from your bank account.
There's an extra step to convert the gas volume to kWh, but this site will do it for you.
In any case, there's nothing to stop you initiating a switch:  TE can block it if they think you're in debt, but it will go ahead if they don't challenge it.
