Pet Window Stickers for Emergencies

Options
Hi all!
I've been thinking about getting a window sticker for our front door indicating that we have a cat. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Something akin to this, but probably in a reflective vinyl so it can be better seen at night.

I've seen a few that have an actual image of the cat. Does anyone think this additional detail would be helpful in an emergency? To me it feels excessive, but would be interested to know if it actually helps, and is therefore worth the additional ££

I'm well aware that a fire fighter wouldn't break into a house to save a cat if they knew no humans were inside. However if there's an occasion where they're going in anyway, a heads up that there's a furry friend couldn't hurt! Might even give them warning that a scared black cat might suddenly run into their feet!

Thanks in advance!

With the amount of  pet thefts and the risk of being used for bait purposes I would be wary of advertising openly  that there was  possibly an animal inside.
Putting it somewhere it could  be  seen only when necessary  would be  better.

It's a bit like those "baby on board" stickers - meaningless unless people remove them when they no longer have the pet, for whatever reason.
Having said that,  my work emergency contact details had a "if I'm inured at work, please ensure my dog is taken to xyz" handwritten addendum. Small enough workplace that I was confident it would be actioned.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Thanks both!

I'm trying to think of somewhere it could go and only be seen when necessary. We have a UPVC/Glass porch door, and then an inner door which is the same. It could be stuck on the inner door rather than the outer door so it's only seen when you get very close to the house. Is this the sort of thing you meant sheramber?

It's great that your workplace would be likely to do something about this. I'll see if I can do the same.
I'm thinking of getting one of the wallet/keyring cards that say this as well

yes, better not to be seen by anybody passing by.
If you travel by car then a card in the glove box is useful in case you are  unconscious  and your pet is home alone. Or a contact number for a relative or neighbour who could help.

I have a card that I was given by a pet-sitter. It says 'animal home alone' and their phone number. I keep it with my credit cards.
    It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
    'Wonder' - to feel curious.
