Unhappy with estate agent - can we use 14 day cooling off period to change?

With the 14 day cooling off period you can cancel the service at no penalty provided you haven't waived this right by explicitly agreeing that a service will begin within the 14 day window.
Yes - you're correct. But every EA contract I recall seeing includes the waiver.
I guess the OP can check to make sure that waiver is present, but it would be a very sloppy EA who started doing work (like taking photos) if they didn't have that waiver.1 -
Make sure you are not blaming EA/photos etc. when there is another more obvious reason for lack of interest.0
