Universal credit-bank details

Hi there :). Recently I had my bank card stolen, by somebody who knows my details. I cancelled my card, however. I'm just wondering, if someone were to change my bank details with universal credit, would I receive a letter, email or a note in my journal? I'm pretty worried. I hope to hear back soon. Thank you very much.

Why are you giving your details to someone else. They are your details and you shouldn't give them to anyone.
No one can change your bank details with UC unless they know your log in details for your journal. To change your details with DWP through a phone call they would need to go through security first before they will speak to them.
Looking at past threads of yours i see you had your bank card stolen some years ago https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5569056/esa-pip-stolen-documents-worry#latest

Once you (or anyone else) updates (changes) your bank details, they need to be verified so you will receive a message that you need to book an appointment at the jobcentre (or by phone at the moment during Covid-19) to verify your bank details. Until the new bank details have been verified, payments will continue to be made to the original account. Verifying new bank details is normally a case of you taking your bank card into the jobcentre for staff to verify the sort code and account number, just in case you have mis-typed it when reporting the change.

Have they also got your username, password and PSN for your claim and access to your email account linked to? If they have, I would change the password's now.
    If not, I wouldn't worry.
