Berkey water filter

Hi all .
I want a Berkey filter, but at the cost of 300. I was hoping I could save money (hense being her )
I found this video to make your own berkey unit using steel pots a spigot and black berkey filters using a drill (but it's American)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVEsQhWvC7E
I don't want to invest in anything which is inappropriate and have questions regarding this video.
I gather I will need large steel pots to stack on top of one another.
Firstly the video mentions using two sided tape. Is that really secure?
Secondly what pots can I get which are suitable here in the UK? The author gave a link which is broken and I'm having difficulty finding the right size pots. I imagine they need to be a certain height to accommodate the filters. Meaning too short and the filter won't be able to fit inside?
I have an sds drill bit have never used it to drill steel only masonry.
This step requires a bit of clarification. Am I able to use an sds drill? If so which bit do I need also do I need lubricant for drilling steel?
Finally if I can't use an sds steel drill bit do I need to use my SDS adapter to use regular keyless drill bits in it?
I guess i have more than a few questions. So maybe a UK type guide might be more fitting or as much info as you lovely people can provide.
