Lots of white space suddenly in drop-down lists

On a couple of my banking sites where you click on a down arrow and select the letter for the password, the list has just become double spaced for some reason. It's really annoying as I'd chosen passwords so I don't have to scroll down but now I do. I only noticed it today, it's on a couple of sites on Chrome so it can't be the website. Has there been some change to Chrome or could this be due to something else?

Have you changed the size of the screen by Ctrl + Scroll?0

Most websites use stylesheets to control formatting including drop-down lists. A likely explanation is that the stylesheets aren't fully compatible with a recent upgrade to Chrome. Have you tried other browsers?0
