Children's bank account for a 12 year old.

Can anyone tell me of a bank account suitable for a 12 year old that DOES NOT require a visit to a branch?
My son has the Santander mini 123 which I opened for him in 2017 (when he was 11) and we did it all online, but I have just tried to open the same account for my daughter and it's saying we will need to go to a branch because she's under 13! That's all well and good, but where we live there is no branch!
So...looking for an alternative please. I'm struggling to find one that will let us apply online until she's 13.
I'd prefer a proper bank account, not go henry etc.

You could try Natwest.0

I've looked at Natwest, they'd want me to go to a branch and unfortunately we don't have one locally. The only banks that have branches near to me are Lloyds and Barclays and neither of them are doing appointments so no good anyway.0

Are you a customer of Barclays by any chance? If yes, you could open a child account using Barclays Video Banking... that's what we did.0
