Were the people related? If they are friends rather than dependents sec75 would probably only cover your ticket.

When was the flight? The 120 days can be counted from when the flight was due.

Friends. The flight was scheduled for July, but booked in 2019. I wasn't aware of that 120 day flight rule, so I can claim a chargeback?
    Has the flight been cancelled?
If not you might not get anywhere.
Yes - can be 120 days from when you were due to receive the goods.

I purchased tickets for a flight totalling £320 for 4 people, so £80 each. I've read online that to apply for S75 protection the card company will look at cost per item, not total, so does that mean I'm not eligible for S75? The transaction was over 120 days ago so I can't claim a chargeback.
Did you book the flights direct with the airline?
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.
