Compliance Certificate - can't obtain

My husband & I staircased on a shared ownership property last year, and bought out 100% of the property. The freehold should have been transferred to us at the point of final staircasing and the leasehold title should have been closed.
We are in the process of selling the house, and it has kicked up that the Land Register hasn't been updated, and is therefore showing we still only part own a proportion. This is obviously outdated and incorrect, as we own 100%.
Turns out, the Management Company instruct a certain solicitors and on their website the solicitors are even marked as their "sister company". Their solicitors are refusing to help saying that they can't issue a compliance certificate as it's nothing to do with them. The Management Company are disagreeing, our solicitor is disagreeing, and they are refusing to help. They just keep saying "sorry, not us". The worst part is that we paid £300 for this to be amended and the Land Register updated, and they returned £120 of it back to our solicitor saying "sorry, not us". But they have kept £180 of our money! If not them, why have the kept the money?
Where do we go from here? It's been logged with the Land Registry; "Your request for expedition of your application has been approved and passed to the processing team for action. We will aim to process your application as a priority, subject of course to any requisitions or other issues that may arise." However without this compliance certificate I don't know what we are supposed to do.
Any advice would be really appreciated please. Thank you

You have a very naughty solicitor, who didn't finish doing his job properly.Where do we go from here? It's been logged with the Land Registry; "Your request for expedition of your application has been approved and passed to the processing team for action. Wait. LR are, unsurprisingly, not working at full strength currently. @Land_Registry can probably help to give it a little nudge for you.0 -
Thank you for your input, it's reassuring that the Land Registry may be able to help push along. Thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it.0

you’ve air reads like you’ve already had it pushed along as it’s been expedited. However as you already appreciate expedition simply reduces the wait time from lodgement to consideration by us, and then priority at any stages thereafter in the registration process. The fee is the simplest one to explain as there’s a reduced fee for how some applications can be lodged, electronically Or your solicitor paid the wrong amount. The fee is checked on receipt of the application so it’s not been rejected as “not us” so I’m unsure where that quote came from.So you now have a situation where you know it can’t be registered as there is a restriction that has to be complied with. So we will query that once it has been considered and ask for evidence of compliance. We won’t register until we get that so the ball is very much in your/your solicitor’s court if the compliance is required“Official Company Representative
