Hello people!
I'm about to receive my Virgin (MBNA) card and am wondering if it is possible to have more than one card from the MBNA stable? Thank you.

Yes, MBNA provide the credit cards for a few companies and it is possible to hold more than one of their credit cards - but you can't transfer balances betwen them to take advantage of 0% BT deals. Not sure if this applies vis a vis MBNA Visa to Mastercard transfers, but I know you can't do MBNA Mastercard to Mastercard transfers.

But you could get any MBNA 0% deals transferred to your bank account and then pay off any credit card you choose. Even from the MBNA range of cards.0 -
Mbna only used to let you have 2 cards administered by them. But would allow you to close one and open another, usually keeping your credit limit, and has been said allow you to transfer limits between cards to take advantage of current BT offers.
Beware of them changing "pay by dates" to try and catch you on late payment fees, and as a get out from their 0% deals. Best to set up a direct debit for the min repayment amount, usually £5 to prevent this happening.

I had an A&L and Virgin card. The limits were put up on both, for example if there was £1000 on A&L and £2000 on Virgin they changed it to £3000 on both :eek:0
