Morning guys - thanks for your help so far. I emailed both claimants offering set aside with consent with payment of debt and asked them for a reply by 15th June - that's 5 days which I think is enough time. If they don't reply by then I will initiate set aside without consent.

Hi guys. So Civil Enforcement phoned and confirmed by email saying they are happy to set aside by consent - which is great. Not so great was discovering 2 more PCNs that were not far from court proceedings. They agreed to £100 per PCN, so total cost for sorting out with CEL will be 3 x £100 plus £100 for Draft Consent Order. And she reckons the process done without a hearing should take no more than a few weeks.

    Parking Eye to go!

You are not meant to be paying CEL the PCN sum.  We've said and make it clear in the NEWBIES thread that a set aside with consent is CERTAINLY not paying them off.

And you are not surely going to pay £100 per PCN for two others that are perfectly defendable and easy to see off?  Please tell us you haven't signed anything to agree to this rubbish?

Gah. Literally said multiple times not to agree to pay them. Unless you really, really want to fund scammers. Certainly don't fund ones not even gone to court. That's crazy.

An MP has opined that some of these companies have links to OCGs.  Do you really was to fund white slavery and people smugglers?

Hi guys - an update on this. I finally heard back from Parking Eye too. They have also agreed to a consent order.
I get that it is not ideal that I'm giving them any money, but also having spoken to the County Court Business Centre, if I tried to go for setting aside without consent, or anything that would require a hearing, the earliest currently is a minimum estimated 4 months away, and that is after they process the paperwork at CCBC and they hand it to a local court. Then after that, presuming that the Judge did set the CCJ's aside, I would still have to wait for them to inform the Credit agencies. So in all we are looking at a minimum of 6 months before they are cleared. That's no good for my situation unfortunately.

Getting a consent order through now, the paperwork backlog at CCBC is currently 5 weeks. It won't require a hearing and whilst again nothing is 100% guaranteed, the CCBC staff gave the impression that this would be a routine paperwork exercise. After that we are looking at 2 weeks to inform the Credit reference firms, so if I'm lucky, it could be cleared in 2 months. Yes it's cost me £600, but it means I'm not held up for at least 6 months.

I really appreciate your help in this - and again if time was not a constraint I would have gone the whole way!

If you pay up you may well be financing modern slavery, people smuggling, and the importation of hard drugs

Wrong decision.   Expensive mistake.  The timeline will be about the same.

Hi guys. You may have not agreed with my approach, but I just received a letter that the CE CCJ has now been set aside.
From the request to resolution (11th June to 31st July) was just over 7 weeks.
I now await resolution of PE.
