Shave kit.com scammed?

I signed up to the £5 shavekit.com trial. I received the kit and thought it was nice but overpriced so went to the site to cancel. It said I couldn't access my account until my trial had been processed. It also said my next box would be processed 4th June.
I was unable to access my account until 4th June at which point I promptly cancelled and deactivated my account.
I check today to find on 5th June they took £35 out my account.
I've emailed and, messaged them. Where do I stand with this as I'm annoyed this £5 trial has robbed me of another £35. I've tried to look on the site and there's not even a product for £35!!!!
Not happy.

Unless cancelled, Subscriptions shall automatically renew, in accordance with their payment frequency
You can make changes and or contact us to pause, cancel or amend your Subscription at anytime by logging in to the members area.
However, I wasn't given access to the members area until it was too late.
I thing I've noticed if they do not refund is this;
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with any of our Products you can return them and receive a full refund for your purchase within 14 days from the receipt of your goods, provided.
Worst case scenario I'll take the hit of postage and chalk this up as a learning experience.

Had the same issue.
This company purposely make it impossible to cancel. Their website just sends you around in circles until you give up.
I contacted my bank, explained what was going on and they blocked payment requests from shavekit.

It seems to me little has changed, I requested a (chargeable) sample kit and found I had been signed up for a subscription. Recent reviews on Trustpilot suggest others are having the same issue, though their response is that it's clear on the website - well possibly it is, if you know where to look. Website says you can only cancel by phone, phone gives automated message saying "please cancel by email - our mailbox is full"1
