Thanks for the suggestions. In the end I went more MSE and got the Tenda Nova MW3. The reviews for most of the MESH systems seemed very similar. The only people who weren't happy were the clueless and the speed freaks. The boxes are quite nice. White 9cm cube. Coverage is really good. Covers the whole house and garden too. Never loses connection. 100% happy. They are now being sold for £59.99 for the whole system at Currys PC World.2
