Thoughts on Highams Park/Chingford areas for flats? (London)

Would cost £500-2k max to move that wall (obviously you'd need to decorate). Would add far more than that to the value of the flat. I don't know why they've not done it tbh.
I doubt you'll get a house. I sold rather a small terraced house with no parking 3 years ago in Pretoria Crescent for £515k. Box room for third bed. Small paved garden.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
You wouldn't have to once Crossrail finally opens in 2021 (we hope) . When it does, the Central line will lose a lot of it's traffic from Stratford wesbound.sync94 said:Also want to avoid central line. I don't regularly go into central London except for work and would hate commuting on the central line everyday (have done it before)No free lunch, and no free laptop

I guess I was more hoping for something like this: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/detailMatching.html?prop=21749450&sale=9936652&country=englandhazyjo said:Would cost £500-2k max to move that wall (obviously you'd need to decorate). Bit of a trek from the station, but doable in 20/25 minutes. I'll just have to wait and see.0 -
You'd be happy with over a mile hilly walk and nearly an extra half hour on your commute? Really? That prob opens up some other roads. I wouldn't, but each to their ownsync94 said:

Awww I missed this one!
Just to belatedly add that I moved to Highams Park about 4 years ago and really like it as an area, a surprisingly friendly community for London!
I moved from renting in much more expensive/established Golders Green to buy in Highams and in all honesty I actually prefer living here, anyway good luck with your search!1
