    I have flirted with the idea in the past, never quite got to doing it yet (time etc but its not totally off the table). For me it was sightly different as i wanted to make a standalone building - essentially a shed but made from part conservatory parts. My conclusions so far are; 1, if I go down this route get one bigger than I need so I have spare bits to make it fit the space I have and 2, the more square it is the easier it is to match and get replacement seals etc as you are just looking for right angles and straight lines.
